The Solution To Carbon BaseLining
Your Non-Domestic Buildings
2pm 24th June 2021

Agenda Notes

Before implementing measures to reduce a building's energy and carbon emissions, you should first measure the actual level of emissions.

Failure to do this makes it more difficult to know exactly how much carbon reductions have been achieved. And then how do you measure further carbon reduction results in future months?

In this webinar you will see a live demonstration of software that calculates a building's carbon baseline and then measures all the carbon reductions from improvements made to the building.

This provides the necessary software to meet the PSDS ‘measure and verification’ requirements and also supports local authorities with its best practise.

This is a game changer because it provides that baseline from which you can clearly show the positive carbon reduction results achieved.

Large Scale Behavioural Change
To Reduce Carbon Emissions
2pm 6th July 2021

Agenda Notes

The Grantham Institute for Climate Change at Imperial College has reported that “more than 60% of reaching net zero requires profound behavioural and societal change”.  So whilst we need to implement large scale change in decarbonising homes, travel, and businesses, we need to take individuals with us, encouraging people in every home, street, ward and borough to take hundreds of small actions, which will collectively reduce waste and emissions.

At the Royal Borough we have just doubled our officer capacity in the climate change and sustainability area so as to progress this ambition.   Eighteen months ago we developed our vision and climate strategy along with a group of 80 stakeholders.  Our approved strategy has many practical activities that encourage our residents along the route of behaviour change, and I look forward to sharing that with you this forthcoming webinar.
